February 2, 2010 Primary Election Key Dates

12/24/2009 - First day absentee ballot applications are accepted

1/5/2010 - Last day to register to vote

1/6/2010 - First day of grace period registration and voting

1/11/2010 - First day of Early Voting

1/26/2010 - Last day of grace period registration and voting

1/28/2010 - Last day of Early Voting

1/28/2010 - Last day military and overseas voters may request an absentee ballot

1/29/2010 - In-person absentee voting begins at the Clerk's downtown Chicago office and five suburban courthouse mini-centers

2/1/2010 - Last day voted mail-in absentee ballots can be postmarked for acceptance by the Clerk's office

2/1/2010 - Last day of in-person absentee voting at the Clerk's downtown Chicago office and five suburban courthouse mini-centers
